Ca Mau: on 26/02/2009, the disease is reported in 2 new communes Khanh Hung (Tran Van Thoi district) and Tan Phu (Thoi Binh district), caused sick for 120 poultry out of 625.
 
Soc Trang: on 26/02/2009, the disease is detected in a new commune Nga Nam town, Nga Nam district with 600 sick and dead poultry. These poultry have been culled.

Bac Lieu: on 26/02/2009, the disease has been found in a new commune Gia Rai town (Gia Rai district) in a flock of 33 poultry.

Currently, 11 provinces – Bac Lieu, Bac Ninh, Ca Mau, Dien Bien, Hau Giang, Ninh Binh, Nghe An, Khanh Hoa, Quang Ninh, Quang Tri and Soc Trang reported HPAI in poultry in the last 21 days.
