20.04.2009. Department of Animal Health (DAH) reported Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) in Quang Ngai province.
The disease has occurred at a small household in Unit 10, Tay hamlet, Tinh Son commune, Son Tinh district from 20 to 22 April 2009, bringing sick and dead to 160 ducks out of a flock of 2-month-old 2,500. Sub DAH has collaborated with local authorities to destroy the flock and conducted appropriate preventive measures against the disease.
